The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Pencil on wove paper. Hinged to the mount at the reverse upper sheet in two places. The corners very slightly stubbed. The reverse sheet with printed grid lines, faintly visible on the recto in places. The extreme upper edge uneven and with a short tear (approx. 1 cm. long) and small paper losses in places. Some mount and light staining. A few tiny foxmarks and surface dirt in places. The reverse sheet edges with some old tape remnants. The pencil is strong.
