The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

white earthenware ceramic plate with grey engobe, coloured oxide crayon and coloured glaze. No cracks or restorations detected. The front with some minor handling marks, mainly towards the edges. The reverse with some minor surface abrasions, surface dirt and two tiny losses of engobe at the centre left. Mild wear on the foot rim. A faded French customs (douane) stamp applied over part of the inscriptions.
Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
