The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Watercolour on wove paper laid down on card. A repaired tear (approx. 7 cm. long) and one associated paper loss (approx. 3.5 cm. long) at the lower left edge, and a further repaired tear (approx. 8 cm.) at the upper left edge. The extreme left and right edges with short repaired tears and minor nicks in places. Some light and mount staining and pinpoint foxmarks in places. A small spot of pale discolouration towards the upper right edge and some mild surface dirt.
