The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The botanical plate with a red lily plant and spray of convolvulus: Wear and flaking to enamels, particularly to the leafy stem of the lily and around the well. Typical stacking wear and minor scratching to the glaze. Typical crazing to glaze and slight wear to enamels on rim.
The three flower painted plates: Example with puce and turquoise edged rim, with typical minor stacking wear and minor scratching to the glaze and slight wear to enamels on rim. The other two examples with turquoise edged rims, one with small flat chip to footrim and some stacking wear to glaze, the other with two flat chips to the rim, one of which is crudely restored with yellowish overpainting and also some typical stacking wear to glaze and enamels.
