The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Summer and Autumn 121⁄2 in. (31.8 cm.) high - The blade of her sickle restored; tiny chips to flowers and leaves in her hair. Typical small chips and losses to applied leaves of bocage and flower petals and ears of corn on the base. Very minor wear to gilding on base.
Spring and Winter 13 in. (33 cm.) high - A very fine glaze hairline crack to Winter's face, running from one ear, across cheek, eye and into hat (if cleaned would be invisible). Small chips to flower petals and leaves of her posy, to flowers in apron and to flowers and leaves on base and bocage. Very minor wear to gilding on base.
