The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In 'country house' condition.
The marble discoloured and with the inevitable minor marks, scratches, knocks, dents, scuffing and wear consistent with age and use. With cream paint residue to each top and the inner body rim chipped (not visible unless looking inside).
The ormolu mounts with marks, scratches, knocks, scuffing and tarnishing consistent with ageand use. With some of the same cream paint residue in places.
One of the beaded swags with a break. The swags slightly bent. A few small casting flaws.
Quite tarnished and in need of a gentle clean.
The tops slightly tight.
Otherwise, structurally sound and in good decorative order.
