Comprising: a patch box in the form of a shoe, decorated wtih flowers, probably Staffordshire, second half 18th century; a patch box in the form of a tricorn, decorated with flowers, the lid with a coat-of-arms and mirror to reverse, probably Samson, late 19th century; a pink-ground circular box decorated with flowers, 19th century
The shoe-shaped box: 134 in. (4.5 cm.) high; 3⅛ in. (7.7 cm.) wide
Provenance
Mrs Doris Herschorn (d. 1975) and by descent to her son Hugh Sassoon.
