The shoe box: the mounts slightly tarnished and dirty. Verdigris to the inside of the hinge. Hairline cracking to the enamels in the interior. Minor chips and cracks to the exterior around the mount in particular and to one side of the pointed toe, with some associated loss to the 'sole' in that area. The underside slightly yellow in tone. The tricorn: Hairline cracks. Chips and losses to the underside of the rim, particularly in one area with some greyish restoration and chips revealing the copper beneath. The mirror to the underside of the lid very foxed and silvering almost all peeled off. The mounts very tarnished. The pink box: the mounts very tarnished. hairline cracks, some bruises and minor chipping, particularly to one side of the lid. The mirror to the underside of the lid foxed and with losses around the edges. Remnants of a paper label to the mirror. Inscription to the interior of the box.
