Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The condition of the lot is in near-fine condition. There are only a few minor spots confined to a few flyleaves, the spines are a fraction faded or darkened, and there is very small hole to front flyleaf in vol. I caused by adhesion. The red morocco binding is a bit brighter than the others, and it may be that this vol. was bound later than the others as it does not contain the Christmas gift gilt-tooling, and the Churchill inscription is dated 1959, some 10 years after publication.
