The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Both works hinged at the upper corners on the reverse to supporting paper sheets with archival tape; those paper sheets themselves hinged side by side at the upper corners on the reverse to the mat-backing with archival tape. Work to the right: Upper edge slightly deckled. Two artist's tack-holes to the center upper edge. Light stained with a few pinpoints of foxing in places. Slight discoloration to the upper right edge. Two small repaired tears to the lower edge and lower left corner. Work to the left: Left edge deckled and uneven with a few nicks. Faintly light-stained with a few pinpoints of foxing in places. Small fill to an old stained puncture off the right upper edge. Two faint thumbprints to the center left edge. Horizontal flattened crease to the center of the sheet. A few additional handling creases in places. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the works are in overall good condition.
