The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Pastel on paper. Pastel is not fixed. The reverse of the sheet is hinged in two places along the upper edge. The sheet is mat-and light-stained. The sheet undulates slightly. Some nicks, tears and paper losses along the four edges. Signed with the artist’s daughter signature in the lower right margin (outside the composition). On the reverse : tape remnant in two places along the revers left margin probably from an old mounting. Pigments are strong and fresh throughout. Subject to the foregoing it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.
