Hinged at the upper corners on the reverse with Japan paper to a supporting paper sheet, itself hinged at the upper corners on the reverse to the mat-backing with Japan paper. Minute paper loss to the lower right corner. Artist's tack-holes to the corners and edges in places. Light-stained and mat-stained. Scattered pinpoints of foxing, most notably around the edges in places. A small tear and a 0³⁄₄ in. repaired tear to the left upper edge, as well as a 1¹⁄₂ in. repaired tear to the right upper edge. Another 0³⁄₄ inch expertly repaired tear to the center lower edge with an associated paper fill. A paper fill at the lower left corner. A 1¹⁄₄ in. expertly repaired tear to the center left edge, as well as four additional small repairs to the left edge. Three other small repaired tears to the right edge. A hard flattened crease along the extreme left edge. An inscription in pencil to the reverse of the sheet.
