The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Hinged at the upper corners on the reverse to the mat-backing with Japan paper. Upper left edge ever so slightly uneven. Minute paper loss to the upper right corner. Artist's tack-holes along the right edge. Faintly light-stained and mat-stained at the extreme edges. A few pinpoints of foxing in places. Small tear to the upper right edge. Flattened diagonal crease along the lower edge. Bears inscriptions in pencil on the reverse. Colors are fresh. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
