The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is fitted in four cellophane corners mounted on mat-backing. Minute paper losses to the right corners and lower-center right edge. Minor compressions to the left corners. Four expertly repaired tears to the upper edge. An additional minute expertly repaired tear to the lower right corner. Light-stained and faintly mat-stained at the extreme edges. A few points and pinpoints of foxing in places. Flattened diagonal creases to the lower right quadrant and to the upper right and left corners. A few additional handling creases in places. Faint adhesive staining along the right edge on the reverse, probably from a previous mounting. The Boutaric sale stamp and a pencil inscription on the reverse. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
