The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Brush and India ink on blue joined paper. The reverse of the sheet is hinged in two places along the upper edge. Some mat-and light-staining (the paper probably originally blue). Three spots of unobtrusive discolouration to the left margin. The tip of the upper right corner is missing. Annotation by another hand to the lower right corner. On the reverse : two or three spots of foxing and annotation by another hand. Subject to the foregoing it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.
