The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Charcoal on paper. The reverse of the sheet is hinged in two places along the upper edge. Some mat-staining with some possible associated spots of foxing. One tiny paper loss at the upper left corner. Two diagonal repaired tears along the upper edge (the longest approx. 3¹⁄₂ in.). A further small repaired tear at the centre of the right edge. One pin-point paper loss to the left of the aforementioned repaired tear. Medium is fresh throughout.
