The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Hinged at the upper corners on the reverse with Japan paper to a supporting paper sheet, itself hinged at the upper corners on the reverse to the mat backing with archival tape. Light-stained and mat-stained. A few points and pinpoints of foxing in places. Small expertly repaired tear to the upper right corner. Flattened crease along the lower edge. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
