The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Hinged at the upper corners on the reverse with archival tape to a supporting paper sheet, itself hinged at the upper corners on the reverse to the mat-backing with archival tape. Another small sheet that bears a signature, date and inscription is also hinged to the mat-backing. Nicks to the edges in places, as well as a small tear to the upper left edge. Small paper loss to the right upper corner. Artist's tack-hole to the upper left corner. Light-stained and mat-stained. Scattered pinpoints of foxing. Small spot of skinning above the left lower edge. Traces of pen on the reverse of the sheet. The line is strong. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
