Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Hinged at the upper corners on the reverse to the mat-backing with Japan paper. Upper, left and lower edges slightly uneven. Minute paper loss at the upper right corner. Five expertly repaired tears to the upper edge and seven to the left edge. A few additional nicks to the edges in places. Light-stained and very faintly mat-stained at the extreme edges. A few points and pinpoints of foxing in places. Flattened crease to the lower right corner. Inscribed in pencil on the reverse. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
