The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Hinged at the upper corners on the reverse with Japan paper to a Japan paper sheet, itself hinged at the upper corners on the reverse to the mat-backing with archival tape. Artist's tack-holes to the upper corners. Paper loss to the upper right corner. Light-stained. Scattered pinpoints of foxing. Small flattened crease to the upper left corner. Longer flattened crease in the upper right quadrant. Two small expertly repaired tears to the upper right edge and to the center left edge. A small nick to the center right edge. Inscribed in pencil to the lower left. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
