The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Charcoal on card. The reverse of the card is hinged at two places along the upper edge. The sheet is mat-and light-stained with a few spots of discolouration and spots of foxing in places. The tip of the upper right corner is missing. Two of three nicks and small tears along the edges. An old small flattened crease to the lower right corner. Charcoal is strong throughout. On the reverse : some areas of skinning, humidity stains and spots of foxing. Annotation by another hand.
