Overall this painting is in very good condition. The painting's margins appear to have been trimmed to the borders. There are scuffs along the bottom edge, resulting in pigment loss to the lower right corner. Very minor abrasions to the right edge of the border. The pigments in the painting remain very strong and appear stable. On the upper right margin is a very slight smudging, which resembles a small water-mark. This discoloration of the pigment is also visible on Krishna's cheek. The painting is mounted and hinged on the reverse along the upper edge.
