The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work was not inspected outside of its wooden strip-frame, which is attached with nails to the side edges of the canvas. The side edges of the canvas are covered with tape. Mild wear and infrequent tiny losses are to the extreme edges, and a canvas draw is to the upper left corner. Stable networks of hairline and radial craquelure are scattered. Visible under ultraviolet light, small spots of inpainting are scattered.
