The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is in overall good and stable condition. Mild abrasions with associated stable pinpoint losses are exhibited along the edges. A small diagonal abrasion is noted to the left of the figure's neck. Three pinpoint accretions are noted near the center of the left edge. Ultraviolet light examination reveals a very small area of inpainting near the center of the left edge, as well as a few pinpoint areas on the figure's proper right shoulder. No tears, repairs or other condition issues are apparent.
