The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The vertical side edges of the canvas have been trimmed and the painting is relined. Tiny stable losses are to the edges of the canvas, not visible when framed. Stable hairline craquelure with some associated pinpoint losses are occasional. Visible upon close inspection, pinpoint accretions, minor surface irregularities, and passages of faint discoloration are intermittent. Visible under ultraviolet light, small spots of inpainting are scattered.
