The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is in overall stable condition. Scattered craquelure noted. The paint layer has thinned and scattered losses are noted throughout the canvas, with larger areas of loss along the edges. Vertical creases are noted running down the center left and right, as well as along the right edge and left side, approximately eight inches from the left edge. Horizontal creases are also noted along the lower and upper center of the canvas. Ultraviolet light examination reveals scattered inpainting throughout.
The canvas is relined.
