The canvas is slightly loose in the stretcher with some additional cleaving of the paint layer in some areas, giving a mildly uneven appearance to the surface. Several repairs are exhibited along the edges of the work, with some additional repairs scattered throughout. Some losses are noted in the lower right quadrant. Scattered stable craquelure is noted throughout. The canvas exhibits some mild horizontal creases. Ultraviolet light examination reveals areas of inpainting scattered throughout. The canvas is relined and wax lined. The work is unframed.
