The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work is in overall stable condition. Scattered stable craquelure is noted with areas where the paint layer has thinned and losses noted scattered throughout. some horizontal creasing noted near the center of the canvas. Canvas appears slightly faded or dull due to age.
The canvas is relined.
