The work is in overall good and stable condition. A horizontal seam is noted running across the lower third of the painting. The work has been treated with a protective varnish. Edges of the original canvas are visible. Slight abrasions are noted along the edges of the work. Ultraviolet light examination reveals areas of inpainting scattered throughout. No other condition issues are noted. The turning edge of the canvas has been cut and the work is relined.
