The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is in overall good and stable condition. The work is treated with a protective varnish. Stable hairline craquelure is noted scattered throughout. Edges of the work appear abraded and uneven, and exhibit associated losses. A seam and possible repair is noted in the lower left quadrant running vertically near the blue sphere. Ultraviolet light examination reveals areas of inpainting scattered throughout. The edges of the canvas have been cut and the work is relined and wax lined. No other condition issues are noted.
