The work is in overall good and stable condition. Mild bucking of the canvas is noted in the upper corners. Minor surface irregularities are noted, mostly concentrated along the edges of the work. The canvas exhibits stable hairline craquelure with some associated stable pinpoint losses and accretions. A stable crease is noted running vertically near the right edge of the canvas. The reverse of the canvas exhibits several scattered repairs. Ultraviolet light examination reveals some small areas of inpainting scattered throughout. The turning edges of the canvas have been trimmed and the work is strip lined.
