Popocatépetl

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is in overall good condition. Faint stretcher bar marks are visible along all four sides of the canvas. Slight yellowing discoloration is visible in the clouds. UV light examination reveals inpainting along the upper edge of the canvas as well to the stretcher bar mark along the upper edge. Two small patches are visible on the reverse in the lower center of the canvas. The painting has not been relined.
