The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is in overall good and stable condition. Scattered stable craquelure is evident throughout. Stretcher bar marks are noted along the sides of the canvas with associated mild abrasions. Canvas is slightly slack and curves inward in the middle portion of the frame. Overall surface soiling is noted. Ultraviolet light examination reveals no tears, repairs or other condition issues. The canvas is unlined.
