We are grateful to Marcos Bledel for confirming the authenticity of this work.
The MacFarlane family owned and operated the Minneapolis-Moline Farm Implement Company, founded in 1929 in Hopkins, Minnesota. From 1944-58, Molina Campos was commissioned by Minneapolis-Moline to execute original artworks that would be used to produce a company calendar. The present lot is one of the original paintings on which the calendar prints were based.
