The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Very slight stretcher bar marks noted along the edge of each work.
Girl: Ultraviolet light examination reveals inpainting along the edges of the work and in the corners. A small speck of inpainting is noted in the girl's hat and another spot noted 5 inches from the right edge and 3 inches from the lower edge.
Boy: Ultraviolet light examination reveals inpainting along the edges of the work and in the corners. Specks of inpainting noted in the following areas: one spot in the left pant leg of the boy, near his knee, a small speck in the boy's right cheek, near his mouth, a small spot approximately 6 inches from the left edge and 5½ inches from the lower edge.
Subject to the foregoing, the works are overall in good condition.
