The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is in overall good and stable condition. Very faint and stable craquelure is noted scattered throughout. Mild abrasions with some associated stable losses are noted on the edges of the work, not visible when framed. Some stable pinpoint losses are noted throughout. Ultraviolet light examination reveals some scattered areas of inpainting. A possible repair is exhibited in the lower left quadrant, on the figure's lower abdomen. No further apparent condition issues are noted. The canvas is unlined.
