The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is in overall very good and stable condition. Minor abrasions with associated stable losses are noted along the edges of the canvas, not visible when framed. Stretcher bar marks are noted along the edges of the work as well as running vertically down the center of the canvas. Ultraviolet light examination reveals small areas of inpainting, concentrated primarily along the edges of the canvas with some areas scattered throughout. No tears, repairs or other condition issues are apparent. The canvas is unlined.
