The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches and rubbing consistent with age and use.

Exterior exhibits significant dents, scratches and marks, there are some losses to the canvas, visible wear to the canvas covering the hinges, humidity stains. The wooden slats appear to have been slightly sandblasted and varnished, still it exhibits light marks and losses. The lozine trim exhibits prominent patina, significant cracks and creasing. The leather closure strap is missing. Hardware exhibits dents, marks, scratches and oxidation.

Interior is incomplete, there is one compartment separator missing, it exhibits humidity stains, marks and wear. It appears that to top lid has been restored, ribbon and studs are later replacement.
