The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches and rubbing consistent with age and use.

1. Exterior exhibits dents, scratches and marks, there are some losses to the canvas. The leather to the handles exhibits prominent patina and creasing. Hardware appears to have been cleaned and polished, still it exhibits light scratches and marks.
Interior exhibits humidity stains and some verdigris to the rivets.

2. Exterior exhibits white marks to the canvas, dents, scratches and cracks, there are some losses to the canvas. Hardware exhibits oxidation and marks.
Interior exhibits marks, scratches and dents.
