The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches and rubbing consistent with age and use.

Exterior exhibits dents and cracks, small perforations to the front and back panels, the wooden slats appear to have been sandblasted. The lozine trim exhibits prominent patina, dents and cracks. The leather to the handles exhibits dryness, creasing and cracks. The leather closure strap is missing. Hardware appears to have been cleaned and polished, still it exhibits scratches and dents.

Interior is incomplete, it exhibits significant humidity stains, wear and marks.
