The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches and rubbing consistent with age and use.

Exterior exhibits dents, scratches, and marks, with white marks to the canvas, visible wear to the canvas covering the hinges, the wooden slats appear to have been sandblasted. Lozine trim exhibits dents and marks. The leather on the handles exhibits dryness and creasing. Hardware appears to have been cleaned and polished, still it exhibits scratches and dents.

Interior exhibits light marks, cracks, storage marks, and staining. The hangers display rust on the metal parts.
