The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches and rubbing consistent with age and use.

Exterior exhibits overall discoloration, significant stains, wear, marks and scratches. The lozine trim exhibits dents, scratches and rust. A faded diamond shape is visible on each side. Hardware exhibits dents, scratches and rust.

Interior exhibits two vertical cracks and tear to the upper lid lining paper, humidity stains, pink ribbon is a later replacement. Several cotton straps from the tray are detached and torn.
