The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches and rubbing consistent with age and use.
Exterior exhibits marks, there is visible creasing to the paper covering the hinges and to the bottom, light scratches. The leather to the handles exhibits light patina and creasing. Hardware exhibits oxidation.
Interior exhibits marks and oxidation to the zinc case.
