The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches and rubbing consistent with age and use.

Exterior central strap tabs are torn, marks and cracks, cracks to lozine, dents to brass metal corners, scratches to front lock, oxidation to hardware, slight marks to wooden slats.

Interior exhibits humidity stains, important marks to interior lining,cotton ribbon lining is red, blue and white, the trunk is incomplete, one tray is missing.
