The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches and rubbing consistent with age and use.

1. Exterior exhibits oxidation and rust to the buckle, marks, cracks, missing stitches but still fixed, not unstitched.
Interior exhibits stains, odor, marks and yellowish color on the lining.

2. Exterior exhibits minor losses to the canvas, cracks and marks to leather handle, additional leather reinforcement to hinges.
Interior canvas torn, marks, humidity marks, scratches.

3. Exterior appears to have been restored and recolored, some corners appears to have been restored, oxidation to hardware, patina on leather handle, light warped canvas.
Interior exhibits humidity marks and stains, canvas is faded.
