The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches and rubbing consistent with age and use.

Exterior exhibits marks to the stripes, wooden slats appear to have been sandblasted, few marks and dents, hardware cleaned, strap tab is broken, light tears to the canvas covering hinges, important cracks to the bottom left side lozine, dryness and cracks on leather handles, fragility to the left bottom corner, mark on the middle of the top lid.

Interior exhibits important humidity stains and marks, the trunk is incomplete, one tray is missing.
