This exceptional online sale will take place from June 19 to July 3, 2024, showcasing over 100 iconic trunks that epitomize an era and a style, making it a true anthology of Louis Vuitton craftsmanship.

Curated by a passionate collector, this collection spans nearly two centuries of Louis Vuitton's history, highlighting the evolution of design and innovation. Each trunk is a testament to the timeless sophistication and robust craftsmanship that have made Louis Vuitton a legendary name in luxury travel. From the inception of the flat-topped trunk to contemporary creations, including those by Virgil Abloh, these pieces reflect the remarkable legacy of over five generations of artisans.

The trunks in this collection are crafted from a variety of materials such as zinc, copper, wood, leather, and canvas. Designed to meet the travel needs of their time, they combine durability with elegant aesthetics. Highlights include the Copper Armoire Trunk from 1900, designed to protect against the elements during long voyages, and the Ideal Trunk with its specialized compartments for shoes, hats, and scarves.
