The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable wears, marks, stains and tears consistent with age and standing.
Curtain rods: One is broken and needs to be restored. Some brass elements are loose.
curtain valances : in good overall condition despite some dirt areas. Would benefit from a gentle cleaning. There are some minor black and brown stains.
Some wires are pulled and some fringe elements are missing.

1st curtain : Some threads are pulled, with dirt areas and water stains with wear areas to the silk embroidery, especially to the bottom. Some stains and traces of dirt to the back.
2nd curtain : Some threads are pulled, with dirt areas and water stains with wear areas to the silk embroidery, especially to the bottom. There is a visible restoration to the bottom (approx. 25 x 10 cm.)
3rd curtain : Some threads are pulled, with dirt areas and water stains with wear areas to the silk embroidery, especially to the bottom. There is a tear more important to the right side (approx. 10 cm.). Some destressed areas to the back.
4nd curtain : Some threads are pulled, with dirt areas and water stains with wear areas to the silk embroidery, especially to the bottom.
Linings : Two are yellowish, with several tear and wear especially one which is very damaged.
