Veneer : as stated in the catalogue, the table is damaged, especially to the X of the base : the four elements of the X are broken and one is detached and has to be re-fixed.
There are important losses to the veneer, especially to the edges of the top and to the feet.
There are some scratches to the top.
There are some restorations with 'gomme-laque' paste filling especially to one side.
Giltwood : the central giltwood element of the X base is also damaged and its upper element is missing and the white gesso is visible underneath.
The feet are slightly worn and the white gesso is visible underneath.
