The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The sheet of paper is laid down canvas. It was previously mounted on the canvas. Some slight waterstains are visible along the upper margin, on the white collar of the sitter and on the lower right corner. Some very slight scratches are visible on the upper margin. And a tiny loss of paper is visible on the lower left corner.
The colors remains fresh. In a gilt wood frame with some chips.
