The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Le tableau est peint sur sa toile et son châssis d'origine. Au revers, nous constatons deux anciennes déchirures restaurées (coins inférieurs gauche et droit). On constate également un très léger trou de la taille d'une tête d'épingle dans la partie supérieure.
A l'oeil nu, le tableau préserve une jolie matière et de riches empâtements. Le tabeau est sous un vernis assez jauni.
A l'UV, on constate la restauration récente dans le coin supérieur droit. La restauration correspondant au second accident au revers de la toile est moins visible.
Sous un vernis uniforme, trace d'ancien vernis en bas à gauche.

The canvas is unlined and appears to be on its original stretcher. To the reverse, two old, restored tears can be seen (in the lower left and right corners). There is also a pinhead hole in the upper area.
The painting retains a beautiful texture and rich impasto. The painting is covered with a rather yellowed varnish.
Under UV light, a recent restoration can be seen in the upper right corner. The restoration corresponding to the second damage on the back of the canvas is less visible. Under an even layer of varnish, traces of an older varnish can be seen in the lower left area.
